Thomas A. Gelardi, D.C. graduated from Palmer School of Chiropractic in 1957. After graduation he moved to Gaffney, South Carolina and developed a very successful practice while raising a family of 5 children.

While a student at Palmer, Dr. Gelardi decided the mission for his life was to bring a vertebral subluxation service to as many people as possible. He also decided that he would one day start a Chiropractic college. In 1973 he founded and became the first President of Sherman College of Straight Chiropractic in nearby Spartanburg. He lead the progress of the school or nearly 3 decades, serving President until 1997 and later as a member and chair board of Trustees from 1997- 2002.

Throughout his career and his life, he has met and overcome overwhelming challenges that would derail a person of ordinary character and vision. Through it all, he has demonstrated an unwavering ability to stay the course and maintain the integrity of his mission.

This is a unique and rare opportunity to hear from a remarkable gentleman who has contributed an immeasurable amount of his heart and soul into this profession. At this meeting you will hear from a person who not only wrote his talk on the " Elements of Leadership", But who has actually lived it.
